Search flights and hotels

Search live fares on Google Flights and Google Hotels, or book through your GDS (Amadeus, Sabre or Duffel), and add them to the proposal in one tap.

Watch how it's done

No need to keep another tab open to quote. From any screen in Vuela, search flights and hotels live and add the result to the proposal you’re building.

Turn the searches on

An agency owner turns them on once:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Press Turn on for Google Flights and Google Hotels.

Once on, Google Flights and Google Hotels also appear in Suppliers, so every item you add is tied to its supplier.

Search a flight

  1. Press g then f, from any screen. It’s also in search (⌘ K) as Search flights.
  2. Type the origin and destination (codes like EZE or MAD), the dates and how many people are flying.
  3. Look through the results: airline, times, duration, stops and price.
  4. On the one you like, press Add to itinerary and pick the proposal.

The flight goes onto the proposal with the fare as its Cost. Then set the customer’s Price from the item’s pencil.

Search a hotel

  1. Press g then h.
  2. Type the Destination (a city, an area or the hotel’s name), Check-in, Check-out and Adults.
  3. Press Search hotels. You see the price per night, the stay total, the star class and the reviews.
  4. Press Add to itinerary and pick the proposal.

The hotel goes on with its dates and the stay total as its cost.

Search while you build the proposal

When you add a flight or hotel item to a proposal, Search Google Flights or Search Google Hotels appears in the same form. Press Use this flight or Use this hotel and the name, price and dates fill in.

Book through your GDS

If your agency works with Amadeus, Sabre or Duffel, connect your credentials and search their real fares from the same flight search.

Connect the GDS

In Settings → Integrations, turn the GDS on and enter:

GDS What it asks for
Amadeus Your API key, the Secret, the Environment and the Enterprise host your Amadeus account manager gave you.
Sabre The Client ID and the Secret. The host only if Sabre gave you a regional one.
Duffel The Access token, from Duffel → Developers → Access tokens. No GDS contract needed: sign up at duffel.com.

With Test (or a duffel_test_ token), bookings go to the test environment. With Production (or duffel_live_), they’re real.

Book

  1. Open the flight search and pick your GDS under Flight source.
  2. Search with the right number of adults, children and infants.
  3. Add the result to the proposal.

Vuela books the flight at the GDS for the customer’s travelers and holds it as a PNR for you to ticket from your GDS. The item lands on the proposal with the record locator as its confirmation number.

Each traveler needs a birthdate on the customer’s page, and their ages must match what you searched for. Duffel also needs each traveler’s gender, plus the customer’s email and phone (with the country code).

From an AI assistant

If you’ve connected Claude, Cursor or another assistant, it can search and book flights and hotels for you too. Before holding a real reservation at a GDS, it asks you to confirm. See AI assistants.
