Tasks and follow-ups

Write down every call, follow-up and to-do, assign it to someone on the team and let nothing slip.

Watch how it's done

Travel sales are lost to follow-ups nobody made. Tasks holds everything the team has to do, ordered so the top one is always what’s next.

Create a task

  1. Go to Tasks and press New task.
  2. Type the Title: “Call back about the proposal”, for example.
  3. Choose when it’s Due, the Inquiry it belongs to and the Assignee.
  4. Press Create task.

You can also create tasks from a customer’s page (New task), from the New button at the top, or from search (⌘ K).

Tasks that create themselves

  • When you mark a proposal Sent, Vuela schedules a task to follow it up.
  • Each item on a trip’s Departure checklist is a task on that trip.

The list

The List view groups tasks into Overdue, Today, This week and Later. To complete one, press the circle on its left. Completed tasks move down to Done, where you can reopen them.

The board

The Board view has a column per status: To do, Next, In progress, Blocked and Paused. Drag a task to change its status.

Edit and reassign

Press a task to edit its title, due date, inquiry or status.

To change the assignee, press their picture on the task and pick someone else, or Unassign.

See only yours

The filter at the top shows Everyone, Mine or Unassigned. Mine is the tasks assigned to you.

On the dashboard

The Dashboard shows Today’s work: the team’s next open tasks, overdue first, so you start the day without looking.
